The real question isn't "Did church happen?"
The real question is "Was GOD pleased with what happened at church?" 🤔
Jesus didn't just preach. He taught. He healed. He HELPED people every day. Then He gave HIMSELF.
Worship that never leaves the sanctuary is incomplete.
Final challenge: This week, how will your worship become visible outside the church walls?
Share your commitment below—let's encourage each other! 💪

😔 IMAGINE: THE SANCTUARY IS FULL BUT HEAVEN REMAINS UNMOVED
"Church can happen and God still be angry. People can leave celebrating while God leaves disappointed."
Amos brings us a terrifying possibility: worship services where everything looks successful, but God says "I hate it."
Not because we lack talent or passion—but because there's a contradiction between our Sunday worship and our Monday lives.
God hears what happens after the benediction.

God didn't ask for: ❌ Another festival ❌ Another offering
❌ Another song
He asked for JUSTICE.
"Let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream." - Amos 5:24
Not occasional kindness. Not seasonal charity. A FLOOD of righteousness that never stops flowing.
Question: What would it look like if your church became known more for justice than for its music?

🔇 WHAT IF GOD HEARS NOISE WHEN WE HEAR MUSIC?
Amos 5:23 - "Take away from me the noise of your songs."
The choir called it singing. God called it NOISE. The musicians called it melody. God called it NOISE. The congregation called it praise. God called it NOISE.
Not because it lacked quality—but because worship divorced from justice becomes spiritual static in God's ears.
How can we sing high and lofty hymns while hungry people hear us outside?

🚨 WHAT WAS DESIGNED FOR GOD BECAME CENTERED ON PEOPLE
God said: "I hate, I despise YOUR feast days."
Not MY feast days—YOUR feast days.
What began as covenant celebration became religious performance. The spotlight turned from UP to DOWN.
We act like God is cracked pepper—add Him to what we've already decided to do, throw His name on it to make it religious.
But God refuses to be an afterthought in worship designed for Him.

You can't sing about love on Sunday and ignore suffering on Monday.
Period. 💯
The same people praising God were participating in systems that harmed their neighbors. Sound familiar?
God told them: "Your songs cannot drown out the cries of my oppressed people."
Challenge question: What does your Monday through Saturday say about your Sunday worship?
Be honest—how connected is your worship life to your everyday life?
Drop your thoughts below 👇 (No judgment, just real conversation)

⚠️ WE KNOW THE RITUAL. BUT DO WE REMEMBER THE REASON?
"It's possible to keep doing religious things long after God has departed from the center of them."
Like Samson who didn't know his hair was cut, we can go through the motions while God's presence has left.
We preserve the form but lose the substance. We keep the tradition but forget the purpose.
This Sunday's message asks the hard question: Is God still at the center of what we do?

Here's the uncomfortable truth: It's possible to have perfect harmony and still miss the heart of God.
Real talk: What's the difference between music that moves people and worship that moves God?
